So sorry to hear your news. I was also recently diagnosed with mets (bones and liver) after 12 years remission. This has been a much bigger blow than the initial bc diagnosis, so I know exactly how you are feeling.
My treatment is now underway (infusion of bone strenthening drug tomorrow; radiation for pain relief, chemo starting towards the end of the month).
I have taken much comfort from the other mets ladies on this board, especially Peg who seems to know what she's talking about.
