Hi Carol,
Just wanted to welcome you and let you know that I will be praying for a good meeting with your new oncologist with news that is positive aand encouraging. Most of the "vets" lurk and post on the main board on this site. Perhaps posting there and also on the newbie board will be more helpful.
Much has evolved in oncology since your first diagnosis. You might be a candidate for a clinical trial with a newer medicine or other treatment. Was your bc tumor Her2neu positive or ER positive? That may impact your choice of treatment.
Please be encouraged that although this is a very scary time for you..it can be done. You beat cancer once before and you can do it again. Please also post again and let us know what your treatment plan will be as you start on the journey back to wellness. We'll be there to help you through it.
