Hi Ladies: I am in need of some words of encouragement and support. After 12 years cancer free (Stage 2, 1 node pos. ER pos.) I have just been diagnosed with widespread mets to bones. I am now waiting for an appointment with an oncologist next week. I am 67.
Can anyone tell me what to expect? What is the likely treatment to be, etc. and, most of all, I would like to hear from all you long term survivors of bone mets. Right now I'm in a very dark place and am trying hard to be positive without much success.
Thank you all.
