Got the news yesterday that I have stage II cancer again. It would have been 2 years in Sept(since surgery- 1 yr last month end of treatment)and I'm upset to say the least but know that I need a positive
attitude to get through this. The doctor suggested I have a double mastectomy - even though it's in the same breast as last time. She also said I was young..59 with white hair after chemo..and she thought that I should have a reconstruction on both breast. Has anyone did this? I just don't know what to do. The surgery is schedule a month out which makes me nervous but at least I don't have to make any quick decisions
. Thanks,Ruby
