I just have a question for everyone. Did you haave raditon the first time you were dx? Also did you have recon or do you still have expanders
If with your recurrance how did the radiation affect the breast implant expanders or do they remove them if cancer is found on the chest wall
I know its a strange question but I was not told that I would not need radiation so opted for immediated recon using expanders and this is my first dx. I had a rad mastoctomy on the left breast and a mastoctomy on the right with 3 nodes found with cancera agin on the left side. I had idc and ilc and insitu carcenoma The lobular is multifaceted (not sure if that is the right word) but I'm stage 2 and ER+ I have been thinking of NOT have rads I just wondered if any of you know what the % on non reacurrance is when you dont have it or if with your experiance what you would say
i do have to say that my heart goes out to all of you having to fight this beast again I just can't imagine how it feels to be told that its back ((( hugs ))) and prayers for all of you
