Hi Pink Lady. I know how discouraging it is to hear the second time around. They have decided I just had a new case of bc not considered a recurrence but this is the second time I have hearing that I have cancer. The first one was 5 1/2 years earlier. I have had another lumpectomy and the pinpoint radiation that you speak of. It was 2 a day for a week. I finished last Friday and so far only effect has been some fatigue. I will start chemo next week.
Somehow the second time around I was calmer. I am triple negative, what are you?
I think I just thought the first time that life would never be the same. Well maybe it wasn't the same but it was good and some things were even better. I just think about the last 5 1/2 years and have to believe that this will turn out okay too.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Pink Lady. I'm so glad they found it early. That makes all the difference. God bless!
