Carol,
I also had TNBC the first time, did chemo and rads, second time also TNBC and did bilateral mast with chemo. Triple negative is best fought with chemo. It reacts best to the chemo, whereas the positives have meds they can take once chemo is done to help prevent recur. Triple negative only has the chemo and rads.
My opinion is that you probably will have chemo. Of course everyone is different and your onc. will decide what is best based on Your case. Take care and don't panic. The absolute hardest part of all this is the hurry and wait. My love to you. Debbie
