Thanks for your post, Robin. I do appreciate it. I'm just having the doxil alone (had 2nd infusion yest.) as I had cytoxan with taxotere as my first chemo combo in Jan 2007 (pre-surgery). I did lose my hair with that combo and both usually cause some version of hair loss. I did wear a natural-hair wig for about 7 mos. (also had a synthetic one in different style) and it wasn't so bad, although they can be hot in warmer climates and watch out for wind gusts! I originally had shoulder-length hair so the wig lady salvaged a good bit ot it before it fell out and made a "hair halo" for me to wear underneath a hat, cap or bandana. The hair was sewn onto an elastic like stretch band which when put on your head gives you hair in the back from side to side and you cover the top of the head with whatever you choose. I wore that a lot (just wash with your usual shampoo)and liked that it was my own hair. Just thought I'd mention this in case you do have to go that route. Keeping my fingers crossed for the doxil alone, but I'm well equipped if the hair goes! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too -- good luck. Pat
