Hugs to you, and positive thoughts going your way. As a nosebleed veteran (a dubious honor to be sure :-) and knowing how upsetting they are, I am passing along some info to you. There is a product called Nasal Cease that helps stop the bleeding and promote healing with nose bleeds. I don't know if you have CVS in your area, but they carry the product in the bandaid aisle (not necessarily where one would expect to find it). When you get a nosebleed, you clamp it with your hand for a minute or two (instead of the longer time normally needed) and then you pack your nose snugly with the nasal cease, which is soft cottony stuff that is specially treated with calcium to promote better clotting and better healing. You remove it 20-30 minutes later. Also, if the inside of your nose gets dry, coating the inside with petroleum jelly can help prevent the dryness from causing another nosebleed or cracking open a wound.
