Dearest Karen,
Please know that many prayers are going out to you tonight and will continue. I just had to respond to your post when I read it. My sister Carrie was diagnosed with BC, stage IV, Oct. 07. At that time she had spots on her lungs, breast sternum, and positive lymph nodes under her arm- where the bc was found. Since Nov. 07 she has been receiving Avastin, Abraxane and Carboplatin every week for 3 weeks, then one week off. And, EVEN THOUGH the side affects have been tough, SOME of her metatasis spots have gone away. I FULLY realize everyone is different, with different body makeup etc. But, I just wanted to share this with you, so that you can hear of one story where those specific chemo drugs have 'done their job'. Right now, the only thing showing up on her scans is a spot in the lymph nodes under her arm. The ones in the lungs and the breast sternum no longer show up, and she gets scanned every 8 weeks.
I will pray that this regimen will take care of those spots for you. Please know tonight, you have a whole other family praying for you!
Big Hugs,
Nanci
