Hi,
I have been fighting recur mets for the last 5 yrs. Am now on Carboplatin, Herceptin, Taxol. I am in the process of going to a clinical trial because I have used all the chemo out there and still have ca in lungs, a couple of spots in bones, and one in liver.
Is there any reason your sister can't have surgical removal of the affected lymph nodes? Why not remove the original source instead of burn the whole body with more chemo? Sometimes a second opinion is more than worth our time.
I'm sorry if I sound abrupt in my speech. I can feel the steroids affecting how I express myself.
Best wishes,
Sara
