Dear Ladies,
First of all, I want to say I am constantly in awe of all of you for the strength and courage you demonstrate each and every day. I pray for everyone on this board.
I am caring for my sister. She is triple negative, and stage 4, even though the mets to her lung and mediastynum no longer show up on her scans. I think she is still considered stage 4 because her bc was first found in her lymph nodes, she did not have a primary tumor site.
Right now, she is due to be on chemo indefinitely. I'm wondering how many other ladies have been told this is their plan. And... IF anyone has chosen to 'modify' their oncologist's plan, in efforts to improve their quality of life.
