First I have to stop shaking...I got my first shot of Faslodex which I will get every other week now (in place of AI's since they failed me). So, I guess I can say I started treatment today. Next week I get my monthly infusion of Zometa (trying to get to see the dentist on Mon. or Tues. instead of Feb...especially now being on Zometa) and a bi-weekly infusion of Avastin. After three rounds of the Avaztin and Faslodex I will have repeat CT scans and bone scan. If there is no improvement or there is progression then I will start on a chemo. Dr. Li wants to keep me off of chemo for as long as she can because of all of the stress my body experienced this year. The Avastin is not considered chemo as we think of it...don't know where it fits in since it is an infusion but do not care if it works on the spot on the lung. The lung is freaking me out. So, time for tons and tons of prayers, white healing light and a whole bunch of crossed fingers to be going on for me. I sure need it. Just only majorly filled with anxiety right now.
