Dear Chris-
HORRRRRRAYYYYYYYYYY!!!! I was holding my breath waiting for your results! I'm SO SO thrilled to hear there is a sign of change ... in the right direction for you! Keep going girl. I hope you are feeling OK? How ARE you feeling? Are you having side affects?
Yes, Carrie has mets in her lungs, lymph node involvement and in her medistynum (under her breast bone). Yes, she saw results with the first round of scans. She started chemo treatments at the beginning of Nov. 07, and 8 weeks later had her first round of scans, which showed some shrinkage. She was told the mediastynum area was 'tough to get to'. But, in her next round of scans, it showed shrinkage there as well. I can't tell you 'how' much of anything, I don't have all the info. But, they did say, a little while ago that she was 67% cancer free from when she first started. The question is... how do we get rid of the rest? I know it can be stubborn.
I would love to hear how you're doing. Please keep in touch, and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Best wishes,
Nanci
