All I can tell you is my experience. Calcifications were found in my breast, and I was given no choice but to have biopsy. My surgeon says he never tells anyone anything until he has actual tests to confirm what he has to say, but in the case of calcifications he told me "it would be nothing...not to lose any sleep over it. Very common....almost never anything...but again always have to be sure". He said he was sure enough that he could not check, but you just have to. It was nothing. He removed it, and mammograms have been good ever since. Try not to worry!
