Hi ladies,
Six years ago I was diagnosed with Invasive lobular carcinoma – and had both breasts removed. No reconstruction. Then had a Pulmonary embolism after taking tamoxifen for a month. I used to post to this site and received so much comfort and support from all of the people going through similar experiences. It was upsetting to see familiar names on the memory boards. Recently, I’ve been having some very unsettling symptoms. I guess it’s been about 3 weeks now I’ve been having numbness and “pins and needles” in hands and feet, nauseated this morning, and noticed my throat is a little numb. My regular doc ran test which checked for Lyme ( which my daughter and dog have), Lupus, and other infectious diseases. (also running low grade fevers) . He said everything was in the normal range. ( I was hoping for Lyme – only because it seemed the lesser of other evils). I’m leaving for vacation Friday – not sure how I’m going to pull that off. He says when I return in a week we will do an MRI of the brain. Has anyone here experienced anything similar? If you’ve made it to the end of this too-long post – thanks
