Well, dear Nanci I will be praying specifically for you and those working on (with) you. I had mine done under general anesthesia, so they kept me overnight. I was prescribed oxycodone, but I did not have to take it after three days. Three days also got my muscles so that I could move any way I wanted. Mine has done very well until just last week when it started running very slowly and the output was very minimal from the 500-700 cc I would get every 2-3 days. My instructions were to drain 3x per week. I think you will like having the control. Blessings . . .
