Well, Wed is my big day. I will be having the pleurX drain put it. I am going in as an out patient and the radiology (intensive) department will be putting it in. I am nervous about the pain I may experience. Did you bring home a pain medication and did it work well? Also, did you drain every day for the first week? I was tapped yesterday and they got 600ml since last Friday. I probably wouldn't have gone in until Monday or Tuesday, but with Monday being the holiday I didn't want to get caught having to use the Emergency Room. I haven't noticed a lot of difference with my breathing this time since I am fighting a summer chest cold. YUCK! I continue to pray that all is going good with you and the vaccine.
