I had a solitary brain met. Had surgery and whole brain radiation. Then mets to liver and lymph node outside liver. Took two cycles of Carboplatin and Gemzar. They shrank some, but new mets appeared deep in chest (mediastinal nodes) and abdomen. Now taking Gemzar because blood counts just too low for Carboplatin. Two more cycles, and I will be checked again. Thanks for responding. I post questions, but getting no answers. Thank you!
