I've mostly only posted on the survivor board, (and not frequently) - but lately started reading on this recurrance board. I also learned of mets a year ago - (after 7 and 1/2 years w/ NED) and had taxotere (plus herceptin) which cleared everything up.. but more mets 3 months after finishing the 6 taxotere treatments - mine was in chest wall, pectoral muscle, skin, nodes. SO.. it came back while on arimidex, then after taxotere my doc put me on aromasin.. but it came back again in one node. NOW I'm on xeloda and navelbine and as was already mentioned above, I also can work right through this treatment. IT curled my hair - a lot! I have a little fatigue but not bad for me at all. I work full time and feel well. My last PET (in March) showed no uptake. I will have a PET scan again in July or August. If the aromasin doesn't work - there are more options, and I wish the best for you. Marlene (in Minnesota)
