Liver mets

I am new to this "recurrence"" board. I hope someone here can give me some information. I have had brain metastasis and surgery, then liver mets, Gemzar and Carboplatin shrunk them some....but blood so low stopping Carboplatin. I'm wondering if anyone is dealing with liver mets. Also, anyone taking Gemzar alone? My recent scan showed more progression..deep in lymph nodes in chest and lymph nodes in abdomen. Again anyone have lymphatic metastases? Thanks for any responses.
