I was on tamoxifen for 3 1/2 years and it failed to work any longer because I got mets to bilatarel lungs, so the dr. put me on Femarra and on the 20th day I experienced severe symptoms. My teeth were so tight I could not chew my food. I practically swollowed my food whole and my jaw was in excruciating pain, the base of my skull was so painful any pressure was unbearable. My dr. after 1 week put me on arimidex. I have been on it for 14 days now and so far my xray shows no change. He says too soon to make a difference. I also am on bone strengthing medicine for mets to hip and rib. There seems to always be something out there to try and am hopeful that something kicks in. Good Luck!!!
