Hi All, I have'nt recurred (yet?) from my stage 2 cancer and am three years out this summer but I ask your help for a friend who has. My prognosis was actually worse as triple pos and positive nodes but she recently was dx with a 9cm tumour on her spine plus some bone spots having been in agony for months. The Dr's feel this was growing since her original dx in '05 and the chemo did'nt work. They have operated and she now wears a "back brace" which is very uncomfortable. Her Dr's talk of beginning rads/chemo but I am very worried as she's still in pain and normally the life and soul of the party but has suddenly gone from that to not answering e mails and withdrawing into herself.
I don't know whether to keep contacting her without response or give her time and need advice on this. She has lots of friends but is not replying to them either but she and I were very close and this saddens me. I really want to help her but am at a loss??
I'd appreciate any advice you could give. I have'nt posted here but read a lot, and was so saddened to read of Joanne's passing, I did'nt know her but felt I did just from following her journey. My sincere condolence's to all her friends and sisters here.
