My PET scan came back clean. No report on the brain Mri, but onc. felt that PET scan was clear that mri would be also. She wants to do either taxotere and gemzar or abraxane and gemzar. If ins. approves abraxane. I want abraxane cause I don't want the weight gain with the steroid use during taxotere. I refuse to gain any more weight. I have gained fifty pounds in the past five years and i will not gain any more.
I am even to the point of refusing to take the steroids if ins does not approve the abraxane.
Hubby has been home with me since last Mon.. He is getting better since he has been on the Z-pac and albuterol. He has never in his life been laid up for one week. He is starting to go nuts so I hope he will venture outside for a little while today. Anyway my first chemo is slated for Thur. whichever way the ins goes.
