Re back from surgery

Donna S! Hi Donna. Hope u not too uncomfortable after surgery. My recurrence was in lymph nodes and chest wall. Was not in much pain aft op but was bit sore and stiff for about 4 days. I was put on AC-T but my blood counts dropped dangerously low and treatment was changed to Xeloda. No probs with Xeloda. My counts dropped a bit but injections got them up. It shrank cancer some but not enough to clear it. Now due to start ixabepilone and doxil.Took herpecin as well but doc has taken me off it as my her+ was less than 1. My CT and PET both showed the same.Hope this helps. Take care of yourself . You are in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know how you are doing.I am sure there is a chemo out there which will kick those cancer cells right out of your body.
