Hi Mary,
I am not sure of long term side effects - I will have been on Lupron for 2 years this April - I am not planning to go off of it as I started out with 20 liver tumors and now you can barely see them - I am only 32 so I have to have the lupron so I can take Femara - this has worked well for me so I do not want to risk changing - however each person has to decide for themselves what to take and do based on what their cancer is doing and what the onc. really suggests - good luck on your decision!!!!
