Thanks for writing. We sound very similiar. All three times mine has been the same- HER2+ and all from the same primary breast cancer and are deemed to be recurrences. Nasty stuff, for sure. I've never had a PET scan, but I've had a bunch of bone scans, MRIs, and CTs.
How is your daughter handling the situation? Just curious. My son - like your daughter - has had to grow up knowing way more about this stuff than he should ever have to know. I worry about that. I was divorced 10 yrs ago and have a wonderful fiance now. We've been together since I was originally diagnosed. My ex has never called or had anything to do with my son (and believe me, that's a GOOD thing!)
