I am looking for any information any of you have about this type of eye condition. My routine eye exam with an OD showed some kind of a "freckle" in my right eye. Since he knew of my history he sent me to an Opthamologist to check it out. That MD could hardly see the Nevus and truly believes it is nothing. I will have a follow up picture at the end of March. This is a site I looked at for more info on them.

I was still pretty concerned that this might be a breast cancer tumor that has showed up in the eye. The MD assured me that breast cancer in the eye shows up white. This did not. One of the places in the MD office where I saw a picture of a Nevus described it as a birth mark. My question was then if it is a birth mark, would it have been there all along and why did we not know about it until just now. The MD felt like there might have been more careful looking knowing my history of recent brain mets. If there is any more need to address this medically, they would probably send me to Boston to an eye specialist there.
My Boston trial begins Feb 6. I have an MRI of the brain on Friday and CT scans as soon as possible to give Boston baseline info and have me sign consent forms, etc.
