that's right, i was in the hospital for the last couple of days. went to rads on tuesday and the onc said i needed to have another thorocentisis sp? or whatever its called. so they admitted me and i was not only full of liquid, but had pnuenamonia sp? and a urinary tract infection. how's that? wantmore? they tried to do the drain in my room and they didn't have a needle that was long enough, but do you think that stopped them from trying, trying and trying? they finally stopped and we wen to the lab and used the right size (5") needle and we go a liter and a quarter (1250cc's)?--oh, i almost forgot, when they were trying repeaedely in my room, they were jamming the needle diriectly into a nerve near my bellybutton. you would think they go the hint while i was screaming at the op of my lungs. so that whole area is still pretty sore, not to mention the pain from the normal prodedure. well, enough about me, i-'m home, but not without the pleasure of the good old oxygen bottle. this has made me tired just typing it--love and prayers to all--kahy
