Hi Nancy, what type of pain do you feel? Burning? Stabbing? I have both of these as I have nerve damage and fluid. I have a "heavy" feeling at the bottom of my ribcage. I also have SOB, wheezy sounds at times, at a cough at times. I have constant pain in the area from a laproscopic removal of my lower lobe of my left lung. I am returning to a very good pain clinic later this month. The Abraxane/Avastin/Zometa combination has had some positive effect on the amount of fluid so maybe you will have success by going back on meds.
Motrin helps, up to 600mg four times a day while my stomach can tolerate it. I also have sustained release morphine at bedtime and look forward to it kicking in each night. Funny to be a pharmacist and a drug addict. I do not keep a controlled substance license so no worries there. Wishing you clear, pain free breaths. Nancy
