Question time

Can anyone tell me what a pleural effusion feels like? Where would I feel pain if I had this? Are there other symptoms besides shortness of breath? What kind of cough? I am having some pain in my back (just about at the bra line), but it feels like muscle soreness. My onc has done 2 chest ct's in the last 2 months to keep an eye on a very slight pleural effusion. He says it is barely noticeable on the CT scan and not at all on a chest x ray. I do not have shortness of breath or a cough (well, maybe a very very little cough), but this sore feeling sucks. I finished rads to my left breast about 2 months ago and wonder if this can be related to that. I see my onc this Thursday and will check it out with him. I have tried putting heat/ice on it and that helps, but it comes back. I am really frustrated with it. Anyone have anything like this? Thanks
