hi girls, i'm back. i had my thorosentisis sp? on friday, and after all my pre-detective skills, i told them i was afraidit would hurt, sothey asked me how many shots i wanted of novicain (they usually give 3) so i said 6 and away we went. the only pain was the small needle prick from the novacain. hey drained over a liter (which i believe is around 1000cc?)BUT......i can't say that i feel any betterwhen i cough deeply, it still feels like someone is poking me with a hot poker. also, i can't seem to walk about 2 yards and back without getting completely outof breath. i have used my mother's albuteral a few times when i just COULD NOT get my air back. and as far as my mind, they told me that this might cause some loss of oxygen to my brain, but let me tell you, the last three days or so have been one big blur with huge pieces jus gone (like as up in smoke). i see the surgeon tomorrow, so hopefully i can get some answers then. so far they only have dealt with the plueresy portion, now we go to the front and see if i need any kind of sugery. if tha answer is no, then i finish the rads (5 days 2X a day) then we start chemo and from there it is only onward and upward!!!!!!!!i am trying to sound excited, is it working? been in a real funk the las couple of days-so it's a good thing i can't remember it all, huh? well, here i am rambling again. hope everyone and thier loved ones are doing ok (especially you di) i have not gone back and everything yet, so if i missed something important in anyone's life, i apologize!!! diane is just the last major event i remember, so i apologize and will get to you, when i'm caught up.
