oh liz, i know your story well, in less than 2 years, i have had 2 mastectomys. just 3 weeks after the 2nd one i got another tumor that they tried to cure with high dose radiation for 9 weeks. after i did all the tests after all the radiation was gone from my body i was so excited to get the results of the pet scan BUT......they found another tumor on the other side between my heat and liver. so now i am going to radiation 2x a day-6 hours apart (at least a 34-50 miniute drive each way) and i don't drive. then i got all excited to start chemo again, but when i went to get it i found out i have to wait to see if i have to have surgery on my lung from the pluersy i got as a result from the radiation hitting the lining of my lung. i find that out wednesday. boy- so sorry to go about myself-i swear my mtive was to cheer you up!!!!-i guess what i want to say is you will make it through this--i have so far. if you have any questions or just want to say hi, write back and i will answer any questions you have or just be a sound board or shoulder to lean on.--best wishes--hugs&prayers--kathy
