I am so sorry for you Pattie. This stage IV stuff is hard on everyone. My kids have lost patience with my limitations and my husband snaps at me. My husband has his good times though and can be very helpful. Unfortunately, I have seen many scenarios
like yours. When my ob/gyn was diagnosed with MS her husband walked out on her. I think that some people just cannot take the pressures and waiting for what is next. It is almost as though they wish us dead so they could move on without having a sick spouse. If you have the money, plan trips with your children. Traveling is great family time.
