new chemo

hi everybody, i started my rads today. 2x a day for 12 days with chemo every thursday. i need some info/feedback on my new chemo, if anyone could help me, please. he is starting me out for 4 weeks on VINORELBINE- he says he is weening me onto to this so i might have the possibility of not loosing my hair(which is one of the main side effects) then follow up with GEMZAR CISPLATIN. i would really appreciate any input on these--i know it's vain but i am really worried about losing my hair again. wish me luck for tomorrow--rads at 8am, chemo at 11am, and rads at 5:45pm (and rads is a 45 minute drive away--with good traffic)--luv and hugs to all--kathy
