It might be time to get a second opinion - if you really trust your onc. then maybe you do not need one but it can never hurt to have one. My doctor let me go to Mayo Clinic for a second opinion on my treatment and surgical options - it was good for me to hear that they concurred on the same treatment - any good doctor will allow you to have a second opinion. I had my second opinion but still get my ongoing treatment from my original onc. (my decision). I do not know your situation that well or even if this is an option - but is the new cyberknife an option for this new location on the lung??? Sorry to hear that this is your third go round but YOU CAN DO IT - Don't give up!!!
