I have not yet had recon but my friend is going through the DIEP process and as a part of that, they did lipo and used the fat to supplement her breasts and to even them out. She had some sorness and some bruising where they did the lipo (her buttocks). The PS gave her a special bra to wear. I hope this helps! You might also try posting on the Newbie site where there is more activity. I hope all goes smoothly and easily with surgery.
