I apologize for the delay in responding. Thank you so much for the prayers, I truly can feel them coming my way. I didn't have a successful surgery but the most important thing is when he opened me up, the are no infections and everything look great.
He was not able to put the tissue & implants back in there because my skin shrunk and everything is hardened too fast. The next plan is to wait for 2 months, wait until everything soften up again, go back into surgery, put the expander in then possibly weekly expansion, the put my implants back in there.
I did this before in March of 2011. So, I know what to expect now. I had a total skin & nipple sparing procedure in March, 2011 with expander. I had 5 weeks expansion, then wait for 4 weeks then my exchange surgery.
I'm hoping for no more infection and I was supposed to go home today which I'm very excited to recuperate at home.
My lab work came back very good this morning other than my hemoglobin was low but that is due to surgery 2 days ago.
Thank you so much for your prayers an support. I am truly blessed.
