Hi Lori,
I had the same problem with necrotic tissue on both incisions. Not to the extent that you did though. My doc cleaned up both sides in his office. Clip clip..sew sew. I swear I did not think they would EVER heal!!!! Drainage after the clean up for about a month. But lo and behold they finally healed! I also had to have some of the saline removed until they healed. Had bilateral mastectomy 3-8-12 and I have chosen not to have fills until after I finish chemo in July. I am not in a hurry. My surgeon told me this was very common. But again, mine was not near as bad as yours.
