Hello,
I had a single mast on 4/3 with and expander. I then had issues with necrotic skin and had to have another surgery to remove the dead tissue. My doc said it was bad, he removed 7 more inches of skin...and had to remove all the saline from the expander. I am still quite sore as he said he went over everything inside to make sure there was no infection. He now will not add any saline to the expander for at least 2-3 more weeks so it has time to heal. Just wondering if that was an issue for anyone else? Man I thought I was gonna breeze through this till then. That really kicked my butt!!
