You do not get put out 
for nipple reconstruction they don't even numb it as I have no feeling in my breasts since my am mascetomy and I assume you are as well, arent you? So dont sweat that.
I am very happy with my nipples and my tattoos my plastic did both, 1st nips then tat.
and I DIDNT FEEL A THING
