Every surgery I've had since nodes removed, I've told nurses to put it on my chart. I "think" medical personnel are pretty good about this, but they have a lot to do. I also got a bright pink bracelet from the cancer society that I wear on that wrist. Once, a nurse even wrote "NO BP or STICKS" on masking tape and taped it down my arm.
