No,the plastic surgeon did not put in drains only when I had the mastectomy with the expanders.
I'm small which is ok with me! I was a size C before but look like I'm probably a size B now. I just wanted to get it over with, you know what I mean? My hubby said that I was smaller but he knew I was "Iffy" about even doing the reconstruction so he said whatever I like he liked.
A friend, that had this done 6 wks before me(B/C also) said that the doctor told her to massage after she healed and this friend said hers looks bigger. Did your doctor tell you to massage yours?
My Onc surgeon told me to massage as well, which I'm not healed up yet to do that. She said that I want them to move around freely.
I go back to the plastic surgeon Tuesday.Hugs,Ruby
