I did not get ice packs and they didn't tell me I could use ice so I didn't want to cause more problems by applying cold if it was contraindicated. I will ask on Friday if I can put ice there.
I have 2 drains on each side I would say about 5 inces below my arm pits. They are getting sore at the entry sites too now.
The drainage is now down to 100cc's (all 4 combined) per day. I was told they have to be down to 30cc's per day to be removed. I hope they go to that before Friday. 2 of them are less than 30cc's so at least maybe I will get those out.
I feel relieved that you did have this pain and yours went away. This is the only thing that really hurts now. I mean I am still sore from all the tightness but I can take that. This other burning is intolerable.
