I agree with Deb, all Plastics have there "own" sachedule/technic.
I awoke from my masc surgery with breast's he put in 600CC yup thats right I was a "C" cup so during the 6 months of chemo I didnt have any fills and was veryhappy and comfortable with myself, after I finished chemo he waited 3 weeks before starting fills & I only needed 2 fills before swap they were 2 weeks apart. He also liked to wait at about 12 weeks after chemo ended to do surgery, my results have been good with no complications 
It really is a very easy choice expander recon less involved and the surgery are little to no down time.
