Well I got through all my treatments. Dble mastectomy with immediate recon, chemo 4 A/C 4 taxol followed by rads During chemo I was getting fills and was advised to have the swap from expanders to implants prior to rads. I went through rads very well hardly any redness but the left (cancer boob) has gone hard and is quite a bit higher than the other one. I'm so dissapointed with the results I just DONT understand why they did immediated recon when they knew I had to do rads
I still have my port in (onc wants it in for a year) I have to make a decision in the new year what I want to do which can be to have the scar tissue released from the implant knowing that it would probably return again or have the other one lifted or do nothing at all. It just makes me
feel soooo upset They don't look like breasts, due to rads cant do nipples maybe having the tatoos will help AND I'm going to get the darn port out because all the time it's in I feel that they are expecting a recurrance I know that might appear silly but I just want to put this behind me and move on and get back to being me and not Corrinne who's got (or should I say had)cancer Sorry it's rather leghthy but it's good to put my feeling down
