A little encouragement......Elizabeth had 35 out of nodes out of 39 positive (and removed). She did chemo and had radiation with that being seventeen or eighteen years ago. Lost count it has been so long ago. BTW, her tumor was rather large as well. I think 3.5 cm. She had two lapses since then (radiation for one and surgery for the other), but now is NED. The lapses were 5-6 years apart. Hope this helps.
Recently, in July she had a leg fracture and had a rod put in her leg and into her hip, but is recovering very well. First used walker and then a cane. Mostly she is off the cane now and is walking on her own with a small limp.
