Update on my situation ...
I posted on this site a while back asking what to wear (while I still had an expander in)to my son's wedding. Well, my 6-month wait is finally over. I had my silicone implants (both sides) done last week. Went to the surgeon today and he wants me to do an exercise with one of the breasts to try to raise it up. (The exercise is for the good side that never had an expander in it beforehand).
My son got married Oct. 3rd and I ended up wearing a pretty spaghetti strap dress with a jacket that covered the top and underneath a wire bra. I don't think anybody really noticed my breasts or they were nice enough not to point them out?!
I discovered I have a problem with Percoset pain pills. They make me itch and really constipate me. So now I am taking Tylenol for any pain - which really isn't too bad, actually.
Sounds like the surgeon may want to go back in and even a few things up in the future. I need to see him again in a week. If I want a nipple on the mastectomy side, then that too, will be another surgery.
