I started burning under my arm first, too. It only got unbearable that last few days.

I had to wait 2 1/2 months after rad for recon. I had a lift and reduction on the other side at the same time. The surgery was a breeze and I had very little pain afterward. I was in and out of the hospital on the same day with no problems.

My best therapy was swimming, which I started over my rad burns healed. It really helped loosen my shoulder.
