Just wanted to write you a quick note to thank you for responding to me when I had my exchange surgery and giving me some encouragement. I feel bad that you and others are having problems.
Whatever route any women chooses for a cancer "cure", it is not easy. I go in for nipple surgery a week from Tuesday, and it is difficult because I have been feeling much better, and this is yet another surgery that will make me sore, and restrict my activities. It has been 5 months since the nightmare started.
It is a shock to find out you have cancer, horrible to have your breasts removed and painful to have reconstruction.
